The need for comprehensive healthcare reform has been clear for years. From skyrocketing premiums to the growing ranks of the working uninsured, the system needed an overhaul.
And yet, real reform was nowhere to be seen.
When Michael Moore released the film “Sicko” in 2007, we thought it would be a great opportunity to get legislators thinking and talking about solutions to the problem.
We set up an online campaign to try to rangle state legislators into watching the film and sharing their thoughts.
