Close corporate tax loopholes

Some of Connecticut’s largest and most powerful corporations are playing a shell game — quietly shifting millions in profits out of state to avoid paying their fair share in taxes.

When large, profitable corporations game the system and play by their own set of rules, the rest of us pay the cost. For working families and small businesses, taxes go up. Or else we all suffer deep cuts to vital services like education and healthcare. We don’t have to let this continue.

In 2010 Connecticut Working Families launched the ‘Stop the Shell Game’ campaign to close those corporate tax loopholes and make sure large and powerful corporations pay their fair share.
